Terms & Conditions
Agreement
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of AI Job Assistant, including our website, guest workspace, signed-in dashboard, API, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and — when purchasing credits — our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Policy version: 2026-07-27
The Service
AI Job Assistant provides tools to build a career profile and generate job application materials — such as resumes, cover letters, recruiter messages, and HR emails — using artificial intelligence. Features may change over time as we improve the platform.
We offer a guest workspace for trying the Service without an account, and a full workspace for signed-in users who want to save profiles, files, and history.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.
- Registration may be limited to approved email domains (for example, Gmail) as configured by the platform.
- You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your profile data reasonably accurate.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
Your responsibilities
When using the Service, you agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful job-search and professional purposes.
- Provide truthful information in your career profile and not misrepresent your qualifications.
- Review all AI-generated content before sending it to employers, recruiters, or other parties.
- Respect the intellectual property and privacy rights of others.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us of unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or harmful content.
- Upload malware, illegal material, or content you do not have the right to use.
- Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, access controls, or authentication.
- Scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to spam, harass, or discriminate against others.
- Reverse engineer or resell the Service without our written permission.
We may investigate violations and take action, including blocking accounts or reporting activity to authorities where appropriate.
AI-generated content disclaimer
Content produced by the Service is generated by AI based on your inputs and profile. While we aim for helpful, professional output:
- AI results may contain errors, omissions, or wording that does not fit your situation.
- We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, ATS compatibility, or hiring outcomes.
- You are solely responsible for how you use, edit, and submit generated materials.
- The Service is not a substitute for legal, career counseling, or employment advice.
Guest workspace
The guest workspace is temporary. Data may be deleted after download, session expiry, or routine cleanup. Do not rely on the guest workspace for long-term storage. Sign in if you need to keep your profile and files.
Your content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of the career information and documents you provide. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service, including sending relevant data to AI providers for generation.
The Service, including its design, software, branding, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse our branding or code except as allowed by these Terms.
Availability and changes
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date shows the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service or AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you use the Service for free.
Authentication
New accounts are created with a Gmail address and password. You must accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy, then verify your email with a one-time passcode (OTP) before the account is activated. After verification, you may sign in with your email and password, or request an OTP / secure magic link sent to your registered email address. Optional Google sign-in may be offered when enabled by the platform.
You are responsible for securing your password and access to your email account. Do not share passwords, OTP codes, or sign-in links with others.
Credits, purchases, and plans
Many AI features consume platform credits from a single wallet. New accounts may receive a one-time signup credit grant as configured by the platform. Paid plans grant monthly AI credits for each billing period, and one-time credit top-ups may be purchased through integrated payment providers (for example, Razorpay) where enabled.
Your current plan, credit balance, usage, renewal, and top-up options are shown on Plan & Billing. Credit balances, action costs, and packages are managed by platform settings and may change over time. Credits have no cash value outside the Service and are not transferable between accounts.
Purchases and consent
Before you complete a credit purchase, you must explicitly accept the latest Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy. Checkout cannot continue until you provide that consent. We store the acceptance date and time, policy versions, and your user identifier for audit purposes.
Refunds
Refunds for purchased credits are limited to verified technical issues or service failures caused by our application that prevent you from using purchased credits as intended. Consumed credits, completed AI generations, changes of mind, dissatisfaction with AI output, and issues caused by third-party services are not refundable. Free and promotional credits are never refundable. Approved refunds are calculated proportionally on remaining unused purchased credits only. See the full Refund Policy for eligibility, examples, and how to request a review.
How AI credits are charged
Some features (such as resume or cover letter generation, resume import, Job URL import with AI research or extraction, and similar AI-powered workflows) may need one or more AI requests before a final result is ready. To keep billing fair and transparent, we use a two-stage credit model:
- AI processing credits — a small amount configured by the platform administrator for each feature. This is charged when an AI request is successfully carried out for your request, even if the overall feature does not finish successfully afterward. It covers the real cost of running AI.
- Feature completion credits — the remaining credits for that feature (total cost minus the AI processing amount). These are charged only when the feature completes successfully and delivers the intended result to you (for example, a generated resume, or a complete imported job description).
If the AI service is unavailable, no AI request is made, or processing fails before any AI call runs, no credits are deducted for that attempt. Exact amounts for each feature are shown on the Plan & Billing page and next to AI actions in the product.
Saved job descriptions and files
Signed-in users may save job descriptions for reuse across generators, subject to account and platform limits. Generated documents, exports, and uploaded files are stored in your account until you delete them, your account is removed under a separate retention process, or we must delete data for legal or security reasons.
Inactive accounts and suspension
To protect accounts and platform resources, we may identify inactive accounts based on last sign-in or last account activity, according to settings configured by the platform operator.
- Before suspending an inactive account, we may send one or more email reminders explaining that the account may be suspended if no activity occurs within the configured period.
- If activity resumes (for example, a successful sign-in or authenticated use of the Service), warning or suspension processes may be cancelled automatically.
- Accounts that remain inactive beyond the configured suspension period may be suspended automatically. Suspension limits access but does not permanently delete your profile, credits, saved job descriptions, or files as part of the inactivity process itself.
- Reactivation may occur automatically when you sign in, or may require administrator approval, depending on platform settings. Suspended users are informed during sign-in when access is blocked.
- Separate data retention or account deletion policies may apply if you delete your account or if we must remove data for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the platform and other users. Sections that reasonably should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property) will continue to apply.
